Job Description
Resicum International, LLC. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Logs and Records Technician / Technical Data Manager to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida.
The Aircraft Logs and Records Technician / Technical Data Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate aircraft maintenance records, aircraft and engine logbooks, technical data, maintenance documentation, reports, and associated records supporting MH-60R/S maintenance operations.
The position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation, accurate data entry and retrieval, and the ability to manage technical information in support of aircraft readiness and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated maintenance records.
- Enter, retrieve, review, and maintain aircraft maintenance data.
- Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and complete.
- Identify and correct documentation and data-entry errors.
- Maintain technical data and applicable maintenance publications.
- Support aircraft maintenance records management.
- Prepare required maintenance reports.
- Maintain records and documentation in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Organize and archive aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Maintain appropriate electronic and physical records.
- Support technical data distribution and control.
- Track maintenance documentation and required updates.
- Support Technical Directive Compliance documentation.
- Support Logs and Records program requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to obtain required maintenance documentation.
- Ensure required aircraft maintenance records are properly completed and maintained.
- Support Maintenance Control and contractor management with accurate maintenance data.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of maintenance information.
- Support aircraft detachments and maintenance documentation requirements as required.
- Support SAR maintenance documentation requirements when directed.
- Participate in emergency drills and aircraft movement or salvage operations when directed.
- Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.
Requirements
Specific Aviation Maintenance Records Experience — REQUIRED
- Must have direct hands-on experience managing aircraft maintenance records and technical data.
- Must have experience maintaining aircraft or engine logbooks.
- Must have experience with aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Must have experience entering, retrieving, reviewing, and correcting maintenance data.
- Must have experience interpreting aircraft maintenance documentation and technical publications.
- Must have experience maintaining accurate and organized maintenance records.
- Generic administrative or records-management experience without aircraft maintenance records experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
- Must possess aircraft maintenance records, technical data, or aviation maintenance documentation experience.
- Must have experience maintaining aircraft and/or engine logbooks.
- Must have strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Must have experience with electronic data entry and retrieval.
- Must have experience maintaining technical documentation and records.
- Must be capable of identifying and correcting documentation errors.
- Must be capable of preparing accurate maintenance reports.
- Must be capable of organizing and maintaining large volumes of technical documentation.
- Must have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance terminology.
- Must be capable of communicating effectively with aircraft maintenance personnel.
- Must maintain required qualifications and certifications.
- Must successfully complete required Technical Data Manager training.
- Must be willing and able to support aircraft detachments and travel as required.
