Department: Mental Health Clinic

Reports To: Director of Mental Health

Location: Roseville (possible travel to other locations in the metro)

Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Benefit Eligible)

Schedule: 40 hours/week; clinic hours

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct support for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services within the mental health clinic. This role is responsible for administering TMS treatments under the direction of a licensed provider, monitoring patient response, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and professional clinical environment.

 Essential ResponsibilitiesService

• Demonstrates compassion, dignity, and respect in all client and visitor interactions.
• Administer TMS treatments according to established protocols under provider supervision.
• Explain procedures and ensure client comfort.
• Provide person-centered care and build rapport.
• Provide front desk support during downtime, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with client inquiries.
• Greet and check in clients in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Assist with patient flow and coordination across the clinic.
• Provide transportation for clients as assigned and in accordance with policy.
• Assist clients with scheduling and follow-up coordination.

• Support overall clinic operations.
• Support clinic operations during downtime, including administrative and organizational tasks.
• Assist with light cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas.
• Ensure readiness of treatment rooms and equipment between appointments.

Other Responsibilities

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor or management. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Healthcare or patient-facing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a DHS background study

Work Environment & Schedule

Full-time position requiring flexibility within clinic hours. Work is performed in an outpatient setting and includes physical activity and coordination with clinical staff.
