Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances, checking credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
