Join Petstock NZ and help drive inventory performance, commercial outcomes, and category success.
We are looking for an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our New Zealand Merchandise team. Reporting to the Merchandise Planning Manager NZ, you will play a key role in forecasting, inventory management, financial planning, and delivering data driven insights that support business growth.
Where you will add value
Developing and managing category budgets, forecasts, and inventory plans.
Driving stockturn, GMROI, and inventory productivity outcomes.
Analysing sales, inventory, and category performance to identify opportunities and risks.
Managing seasonal buy plans, forecasting, and Open To Buy (OTB) processes.
Partnering with Merchandise, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to achieve commercial objectives.
Providing reporting, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
What sets you apart
Previous experience in Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, or a similar retail planning role.
Strong forecasting, analytical, and commercial acumen.
Experience with inventory management, replenishment, allocation, and budgeting processes.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A positive, proactive approach and passion for delivering results.
