Our global cybersecurity group—Danaher Information Security (DIS)—is expanding into Europe.  This strategic growth includes the launch of a 24/7 cybersecurity capability in Kraków, enabling global coverage and operational resilience across our enterprise through continuous improvement.

Positioned within the Kraków technology delivery centre, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering and operations team dedicated to defending Danaher’s businesses.  You’ll engage in deploying leading security technologies, responding to threats in real time, and shaping the future of our cybersecurity posture.

The Cybersecurity Automation Manager is a new position that will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, development, release, and maintenance of enterprise-wide cybersecurity automation solutions. This individual leads a team of developers, orchestrates the deployment of security solutions, and ensures the daily operational integrity of all security measures. The role is both technical and managerial, demanding a blend of cybersecurity expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision. 

This position is within the Danaher Corporate Information Security team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Cyber Threat Engineering. This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by the Cytiva operating company in Krakow.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive solution and roadmap development for security orchestration, automation, and response capabilities aligned with enterprise priorities
  • Lead the delivery of complex, high-impact cybersecurity automation initiatives from concept through production deployment following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-focused solution delivery
  • Partner closely with Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver scalable, supportable and reliable enterprise solutions.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or software development experience, including experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience applying modern engineering practices, including SDLC frameworks, CI/CD, automated validation and testing, lifecycle governance, and traceability.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions, manage stakeholder relationships and driving solution delivery aligned with stakeholder requirements
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, standards, best practices and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Tines, Splunk SOAR, CrowdStrike Fusion SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel SOAR
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud service providers including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
