About the location:
Nestled along a two-mile (3.2-kilometre) stretch of beach in Puerto Rico’s Bahia Beach community, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is also surrounded by its own 483-acre (195-hectare) private nature reserve. The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.About the role:
Assist in preparation and service food items for Employee Dining Room in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
What you will do:
Prepare and serve food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards per established menu from supervisor.
Prepare set-up and salad bar items; set-up hotline with food retrieved from kitchen.
Maintain the cleanliness of cafeteria kitchen and seating areas; restock condiments and paper goods as necessary.
Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.

Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.
What you will bring:
High school education or equivalent experience.
This is an entry level position. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the job.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking.
