Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility.

You would assist in all shipping functions which include, but are not limited to quality control, checking in orders, boxing, labeling, and moving skids/parcels, all while maintaining excellent quality and production standards. You must be highly motivated with a great work ethic and work well individually and in a team setting. You must also be able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.

Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift:

• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control review of each order.

• Check-in orders.

• Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers.

• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels.

• Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely

• Follow safety requirements for the position

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

You Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast paced environment

• Basic computer knowledge required

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.

• Frequently required to move inside the facility.

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in Pick/Packing

• Experience with UPS and FedEx software

• 1+ years of experience in a related environment
