Kitchen Porter | Sandbar

We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the team at Sandbar, our beachfront venue in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for 20–25 hours per week, working primarily across our busy breakfast shifts.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the kitchen team with cleaning and general kitchen duties

• Washing dishes, pots and pans

• Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised

• Assisting with deliveries, stock movement and rubbish removal

• Helping the chefs with basic kitchen tasks when required

• Following food safety and workplace hygiene standards

• Working as part of a fast-paced and supportive kitchen team

About you

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual

• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

The role

• 20-25 hours per week

• Breakfast shifts - approximately 8am-2pm

• Work right by the beach in the heart of Surfers Paradise
