About this opportunity

Join the Router Platform and Security Development team within PDU Transport in Beijing. You will contribute to the development of Ericsson Router 6000 products, supporting high-performance IP transport solutions for modern mobile networks.

### What will you do

• Develop, integrate, and bring up Router 6000 Switch and Router products.
• Design, implement, and maintain software features for embedded networking platforms.
• Work in an agile, cross-functional team as software platform developer.
• Participate in feature analysis, software design, coding, code review, unit testing, feature testing, debugging, and product maintenance.
• Develop and test software related to Driver, OAM, IPSec, MacSec and Security.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery activities using engineering workflows such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, code quality checks, automated builds, smoke testing, and regression testing.
• Apply secure software development practices, including secure coding, static analysis, vulnerability management, and security-oriented testing.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted development approaches, including SPEC driving development, intelligent test generation, code review assistance, issue analysis, and engineering knowledge retrieval.

### You will bring

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Embedded Linux OS and Linux development environments.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and a solid understanding of software development fundamentals.
• Understanding of networking technologies and protocols, especially Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switching and routing.
• Familiarity with IP networking, OAM, Chipset Driver, or network security is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, CI/CD, automated testing, or software quality tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, RAG systems, vector databases, or AI-assisted software engineering.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure components, including model routing, caching, observability, evaluation, security, and cost optimization.
• Interest in multi-agent systems and large-scale agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Collaborative spirit, professional integrity, proactive attitude, and positive approach to learning.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
