Cowboy Coating is looking for an experienced Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating Specialist to join our Alpharetta shop.
This is not a basic car wash or entry-level detailing position. We specialize in high-end paint correction, ceramic coatings, and vehicle protection, and we’re looking for someone who takes serious pride in their work and wants the opportunity to earn well doing it.
Compensation:
Base Pay: $25/hour
On top of your hourly pay, technicians receive:
- 100% of their tips.
- 50% commission on any services they personally upsell.
- Our technicians typically average $1,500–$2,000 per week after tips and upsells.
There is significant earning potential for someone who is good with customers, takes pride in their work, and can identify additional services that would benefit the vehicle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll work out of our indoor Alpharetta shop, primarily performing:
- Multi-step paint correction.
- Machine polishing and defect removal.
- Ceramic coating preparation and installation.
- Clay bar and paint decontamination.
- High-end exterior detailing.
- Final vehicle inspections and quality control.
- Identifying and recommending appropriate additional services to customers.
We regularly work on Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Corvette, Tesla, trucks, SUVs, exotics, and other high-end vehicles.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has professional detailing experience.
- Has experience using dual-action and/or rotary polishers.
- Understands paint correction and proper polishing techniques.
- Has experience installing ceramic coatings or is capable of quickly learning our process.
- Is extremely detail-oriented.
- Shows up on time and can be relied upon.
- Takes ownership of their work.
- Can work independently without needing to be constantly supervised.
- Is comfortable speaking with customers and recommending additional services.
Why Cowboy Coating?
We’re not a high-volume wash-and-detail operation. Our business is built around premium paint correction, ceramic coatings, and vehicle protection.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on great vehicles in a professional shop while earning considerably more than a typical detailing position through hourly pay, tips, and a very aggressive 50% upsell commission.
If you’re an experienced detailer who’s confident in your ability and wants a position where quality work and hustle directly increase your paycheck, we’d like to hear from you.
