Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
