Standby Role Player / OPFOR - VIRGINIA BEACH

Description

Tactical Revolution, LLC is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to serve as Standby Role Players (SB RPs) in support of a military tactical training exercise.

Standby Role Players are used to fill unexpected staffing shortages, replace absent Role Players, and support changing exercise requirements. Standby Role Players may be activated at any time during the assigned standby period and, if activated, must be capable of performing the full duties and physical requirements of a Role Player.

As a Standby Role Player, you will:

• Report to the designated exercise location at the required time and remain available for the assigned standby period.
• Maintain communication with Tactical Revolution leadership and exercise staff.
• Be prepared to immediately participate in training scenarios if activated.
• Follow scenario scripts and exercise instructions exactly as directed.
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from exercise leadership.
• Maintain professional conduct while representing Tactical Revolution.
• Complete all required onboarding, exercise paperwork, and base-access requirements.

If activated, Standby Role Players must meet the following Role Player criteria:

• Be able to stay on script for the assigned scenario without ad-libbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
• Be willing to wear clothing, costumes, headgear, and other attire appropriate to the training scenario.
• Be able to operate various military weapons systems and fire marking-cartridge weapons, paintball-type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after receiving instruction on their safe use.
• Be able to portray Opposing Force (OPFOR) personnel, including participating in scenarios involving marking-cartridge weapons.
• Be physically capable of working in an austere environment and during hours of darkness.
• Have no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would prevent safe performance of the required duties.
• Be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety procedures.
• Be able to be restrained or zip-tied for prolonged periods of time as required by the scenario.
• Be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained, as required by the scenario.
• Be able to stand and remain in a prone position for extended periods, both with and without restraints.
• Be willing to participate in scenarios where they may be engaged with non-lethal marking ammunition, including Simunition®, UTM, or paintball-type systems, while wearing required protective equipment.
• Be able to wear required safety equipment, which may include a full-face helmet, throat guard, groin guard, and other designated personal protective equipment (PPE).

COMPENSATION:

• Standby Rate: $50/day for reporting as scheduled and remaining available during the assigned standby period.
• Activation Rate: $20/hour if activated to perform Role Player duties. The Standby Role Player will be compensated at the applicable Role Player hourly rate for time worked.

Requirements

Be 18 years or older.

Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.

Have a valid driver's license.

Must be dependable and able to report as scheduled.

Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Must be comfortable working in a military training environment.

Must be able to complete all required onboarding and exercise documentation.

Must meet any customer-specific requirements, including identification, citizenship, background screening, or installation/base-access requirements, when applicable.
