The role

As part of our expanding transport infrastructure portfolio, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals for the position of Senior Bridge Engineer on a major road and bridge supervision assignment in Georgia. The successful candidate will provide specialist oversight for bridge construction activities and ensure that structural works are delivered in compliance with approved designs and specifications.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), EUR ING, or equivalent professional registration.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in bridge engineering, bridge construction, and structural supervision assignments.
• Demonstrated experience in the supervision and construction of major bridge structures, interchanges, viaducts, flyovers, or similar transport infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of international project experience, preferably across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of bridge construction methodologies, contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, temporary works, and quality assurance requirements.
• Familiarity with FIDIC-based contract administration and construction supervision procedures.
• Previous experience on ADB, World Bank, EBRD, AIIB or other MDB-funded infrastructure projects is highly desirable
• Prior experience in Central Asia and/or the Caucasus region is strongly preferred.
• Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
