SUMMARY: This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership and Coordination

• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
• Coordinate Team Member schedules and handle clocking reports and attendance records.
• Hold monthly safety meetings and perform other responsibilities as assigned across all three shifts of refrigeration maintenance.

Program Administration and Compliance

• Administer the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
• Maintain relevant records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
• Instruct personnel in the use of personal protective equipment.
• Implement new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Work with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve new or different technical problems regarding equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 3 plus years’ experience of industrial refrigeration required. Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
• Special Skills: CIRO certification preferred.
• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
