At Franciscan, our Marketing Specialists role offers opportunities in many aspects of marketing with a wide variety of responsibilities. The Marketing Specialist's primary role is to support the various hospital service lines for the system in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment, assisting in the planning, execution and tracking of marketing campaigns, projects and events across various channels like social media, website, e-mail/text, events, paid media, news media, and referral streams. This position requires clear communication, strong writing skills, attention to detail, customer service and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Provides support to the service director in marketing initiatives across Franciscan Alliance. Assist in managing and coordinating promotional materials (brochures, postcards, posters, banners, etc.), advertising assets, patient testimonials (videos, blogs, etc.), physician podcasts, digital content (email campaigns, webpages, social media, etc.) in collaboration with system marketing team. Manage and monitor CRM campaigns with service line director (web pages, emails, downloadable materials, promotional incentives, contact center workflow, etc.). Required to complete assigned tasks on a project in a timely manner and provide regular project updates to director.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with coworkers, administrative staff, business development and clinical staff to meet the needs of the local community and promote new and existing Franciscan products and services.
Collaborates with community outreach managers to support marketing and community outreach strategies that promote service line and enhance Franciscan's image in the community. This includes implementing and participating in sponsorships/events, community outreach events, health fairs/screenings, seminars, webinars, etc. Some nights and weekend events required; some travel and overnight required.
Works with social media team to create content calendar for the service line across the system, including coordinating and developing assets for patient testimonials and physician interviews for use in blogs, videos, podcasts and social media platforms. Works with web team to create audit and update service line webpages and works with CRM digital marketing team to generate digital content for email campaigns and CRM webpages.
Works with the public relations team to represent the hospital and coordinate with others in various marketing and communications activities to internal and external audiences. Utilizes effective, positive communication skills in all aspects of the role. Prepares and edits a variety of written communications for use in marketing and communications activities. Employs effective writing and editing skills in all aspects of position responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business, Healthcare or Related Field Required
2 Years Marketing Specialist Required
2 Years Healthcare Preferred
