The AML Compliance Senior Analyst is an analyst‑level role within the AML‑ATF Unit under the Legal and Compliance Department, reporting directly to the Head of AML‑ATF. This position focuses on core operational execution of AML activities.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely execution of transaction monitoring, name screening reviews, STR/SAR preparation, AML data and regulatory reporting. The AML Compliance Senior Analyst is accountable for producing complete, well‑documented analyses, maintaining reliable audit trails, and escalating potential suspicious activities in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements. The role supports strong AML governance, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness by delivering high‑quality outputs that meet strict accuracy, timeliness, and documentation standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily review and risk-based analysis of transaction monitoring and name screening alerts generated by AML systems or escalated by Operations and Business Units to identify potential suspicious transaction/activity.
- Prepare structured working papers to support STR/SAR assessment, ensuring clear rationale, sufficient supporting evidence, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and submit STR/SAR reports in goAML as Maker, including preparing concise and well-supported transaction narratives and maintaining complete STR/SAR documentation files.
- Extract, validate, consolidate, and prepare data for AML regulatory submissions and internal management reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Support responses to information requests, inquiries, and examinations from PPATK, OJK, KPK, and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain AML reporting logbooks, trackers, and audit trails, and support AML audits, QA reviews, and regulatory examinations to ensure ongoing audit readiness and compliance integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in from a reputable university
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in AML Analyst role or related area.
- Experience in life insurance company or banking is highly valued.
- Familiar with KYC/CDD and AMLATF Regulations in Indonesia.
- Team player, tech-savvy, quick learner and self-starter.
- Excellent ability to speak and write in English
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and AML monitoring systems.
