The Role:
The Workday Security Analyst provides advanced support for clinical and business applications within the Managed Services division of Nordic Global. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape, application functionalities and great responsibility in managing support requests, documentation, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Workday Security Framework Management
- Core Configuration: Manage and optimize core Workday security components, including Role-Based (Constrained/Unconstrained), User-Based, Domain (DSP), and Business Process (BPSP) security groups.
- Audit & Cleanup: Lead continuous security group audit cleanups to streamline access, eliminate configuration drift, and enforce least-privilege standards.
- Advanced Group Logic: Build and maintain Rule-Based, Intersection, Aggregation, and Segment-Based security groups to narrowly tailor data access.
- Network Guardrails: Maintain tenant-level security settings, including Workday Internal Network IP restrictions and authentication rules.
2. Reporting, Integration & Layout Security
- Data Layout Governance: Secure and manage access for Workday report data embedded into downstream document layouts.
- High-Visibility Reporting: Maintain and govern security restrictions for critical payroll and organizational data, such as Payroll Journal Lines by Organization & Pay Component.
- Integration Security: Partner with the integration team to configure and manage Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG).
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience specializing in Workday Security configuration, user access reviews, and tenant maintenance.
- Technical Mastery: Complete fluency across the entire Workday security spectrum (User, Role, Job, Location, and Segment-based groups).
- Audit-Driven: Strong background in executing security cleanups and navigating complex compliance requirements.
- Environment: Comfortable handling data security in a fast-paced, integration-heavy enterprise ecosystem.
