Respiratory Technician - Papillion

As a Respiratory Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of respiratory home care while providing excellent one-on-one patient care. General work times are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with rotating on call weekends.  This position is located at our Papillion location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• Deliver and pickup oxygen cylinders, equipment, and supplies to and from patients
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the patient is satisfied
• Load and unload items from vehicles
• Record and track oxygen cylinder lot numbers
• Clean and provide maintenance on DME and respiratory equipment
• Assist with routine oxygen concentrator checks
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle patient questions and issues
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid and insurable driver's license
• Ability to lift equipment of 50 lbs (oxygen concentrators) frequently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Respiratory Technician experience
