The Enterprise Architecture & Technology Lead

The Headhunter LTD Albania, daughter company of The Headhunter Group, has been entrusted by a leading international technology brand operating in Albania to find a strong and hands-on The Enterprise Architecture & Technology Lead.

The Enterprise Architecture & Technology Lead is a senior technical and strategic position reporting directly to the CEO, with a dotted-line relationship to the CTO. The role is responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy in alignment with the organization's business objectives, while leading the Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture functions.

The position provides strategic direction across business, information, solution, technical, and security architecture, ensuring that technology solutions are scalable, secure, integrated, and aligned with business and customer needs.

The role works closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners to assess technology opportunities, drive modernization, and ensure the effective delivery of strategic technology initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate the Enterprise Architecture (EA) program, initially focusing on NextGen AI initiatives.
• Define and maintain the organization's technology and architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term priorities.
• Provide architectural leadership across Business, Information, Solution, Technical, and Security Architecture.
• Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of the NextGen AI technology strategy and roadmap.
• Evaluate business needs, technology trends, operating models, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Establish and maintain architecture governance, standards, principles, and best practices across the organization.
• Oversee the development and evolution of technology solutions, infrastructure, applications, data, APIs, cloud services, and integrations.
• Ensure technology decisions consider security, scalability, performance, cost, risk, and long-term sustainability.
• Lead and coordinate complex technology projects, working closely with senior management, technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and consultants.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations, presentations, and strategic proposals for executive and non-technical audiences.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure their requirements and expectations are effectively addressed.
• Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates, recommendations, and risk assessments to the CEO, CTO, and relevant leadership teams.
• Lead or support architecture committees, working groups, and stakeholder forums as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT maturity, operational effectiveness, and technology capabilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in technology, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technical leadership, or complex IT project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technology initiatives and technical teams.
• Experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Enterprise / Solution Architecture
• Application Development
• Infrastructure & Cloud Technology
• Data Architecture & Management
• Cybersecurity
• IT Service Management
• Project / Program Management
• Production & Technical Support
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Enterprise Architecture frameworks, architecture governance, and technology strategy.
• System development life cycles, IT service management, infrastructure, and operations.
• Cloud and modern technology models, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• APIs, microservices, service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, and modern integration approaches.
• Application, data, and solution architecture, including data modeling and information management.
• Cybersecurity principles, technology risk management, and security architecture.
• Business and financial models, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and technology investment planning.
• Emerging technologies, including AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation.
