A warm and welcoming family on the Upper West Side is seeking an experienced, engaging, and dependable part-time nanny to care for their nearly 5-year-old child. Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00/7:00 PM 
• Friday (potentially): 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM 
• Flexibility for occasional date nights is appreciated.
• Start date: Flexible

Responsibilities

• Pick up child from school and escort to activities
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities, outings, and play
• Prepare healthy snacks and a simple dinner
• Assist with bath time and evening routine
• Children's laundry
• Organize the child's bedroom, clothing, toys, and supplies
• Clean up after meals and maintain the child's kitchen items
• Foster a kind, positive, and nurturing environment while encouraging independence and good manners

Requirements

• Prior experience caring for preschool and school-aged children
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be fully vaccinated
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide outstanding professional references

Salary and Benefits

• $35/hour
• Paid vacation: One work week (based on scheduled hours)
