Global Supplier Execution inside Procurement organization drives material availability to sustain manufacturing build plan and sales targets to ensure customer satisfaction. Moreover, monitor and manage suppliers’ performance and continuous improvement project, supporting commodity strategy, improving supply chain resilience and providing risk reduction actions.

As Supplier Execution Engineer-Sourcing Senior Specialist , you will be responsible to drive strategic and long-term strategies to shape Procurement commodity strategy and enhance material execution process for the Gas Turbine Flow business. You'll work with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Material Management and Suppliers to improve supplier performance and capabilities through Lean & Digital methodology, technical assessment and cross-functional collaboration .

You will be accountable to solve complex problems, execute objectives, and support short and long-term business goals. Ensure business strategies are followed for execution quality in order to deliver on time customers’ orders, with the proper quality. You will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the product / commodity managed.

Partner with the best

As Supplier Execution Engineer-Sourcing Senior Specialist , you will work with other Procurement functions and Suppliers, providing technical expertise to strategy definition and execution. In specific:

  • In collaboration with Procurement, Engineering and Quality, you will take part in the commodity strategy definition and new suppliers qualification, performing capability/capacity/LT assessment and ensuring the correct implementation of consistent risk mitigation plans and flawless execution
  • Drive strategic improvement initiatives to support Gas Turbine Flow business ramp up, including Artificial Intelligence and Digital deployment to improve material delivery and enhance suppliers’ performance monitoring. This includes testing and creating new tools, leveraging AI implementation inside the company and from benchmarking.
  • Partner with Global Supplier Execution Team (including APAC and East Europe regions) to ensure best practice and improvement projects are consistently implemented across the global supply chain
  • In line with EE Business strategy deployment, you will collaborate with Operational Excellence Team and Kaizen Execution Leader to lead Suppliers in Continuous Improvement journey, defining and executing Kaizen roadmap through Lean & Digital methodology, aiming to eliminate waste and improve performance
  • You will collect from Suppliers “Design for Manufacturing” improvement ideas with a bottom-up approach, evaluating the implementation feasibility with Supplier Quality and Engineering, aiming to optimize production times and costs. You will foster the introduction of new technologies at Suppliers’ sites to improve their capability and execution performance
  • You will participate in cross functional Action Work Out (AWO) to drive and support continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to improve supplier execution performance and material availability

  • Have proven experience in Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management and/or Commercial, with preferred knowledge of oil and gas products.

  • Be willing to travel both to regional and international locations, to work with suppliers (up to 20% travel required).
  • Be fluent in both Italian and English and hold an EU passport.
  • Be proficient in MS Excel & ERP Systems

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 45,087 To 83,000.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
