The Divisional Vice President will be responsible for divisional P&L performance, business development, resource planning, project execution, customer relationships, and building a qualified electrical workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Power Division’s business strategy, growth plan, and market expansion efforts.

  • Build and lead high-performing teams, including operations leaders, project managers, estimators, field leaders, craft professionals, and technical specialists.
  • Support business development, proposal strategy, contract review, customer negotiations, and major pursuits.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, utilities, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulators, and industry partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent executive-level experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in electrical construction, power delivery, industrial electrical systems, energy infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing P&L responsibility, and growing or scaling an electrical or power-related business.
  • Strong knowledge of medium- and high-voltage systems, substations, power distribution, utility interconnections, testing, commissioning, and project delivery.
  • Experience with natural gas, industrial, utility, renewable energy, battery storage, or mission-critical energy facilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, estimating, scheduling, procurement, project controls, safety, quality, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, customer relationships, and decision-making skills.
  • Relevant professional licenses or certifications are preferred.

Other:

  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites, customer locations, offices, and industry events.
  • Ability to work in office and active construction-site environments.
