The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Copywriter serves as a core member of Solve Studio's Story & Language discipline, transforming business objectives, audience insights and creative strategies into clear, compelling and effective communications. 

Reporting to the Story & Language Creative Lead, this role develops content across a variety of channels and touchpoints, ensuring all communications are aligned with the Solventum brand voice, messaging strategy and business objectives. 

The Copywriter combines strategic thinking with strong writing craft to create audience-centered content that informs, inspires and drives action. Working closely with Account, Project, Design and Business partners, this role brings clarity to complexity and helps ensure every communication is purposeful, engaging and aligned with Solventum standards.  

 

Key responsibilities 

Storytelling & Content Development  

  • Develop clear, engaging and persuasive content across a variety of channels including digital, social, web, email, experiential, presentation and campaign assets. 

  • Translate approved creative briefs, marketing strategies and business objectives into effective written communications. 

  • Develop headlines, messaging, campaign language, long-form content and supporting copy that aligns with strategic intent. 

  • Adapt messaging appropriately for different audiences, channels and stages of the customer journey. 

  • Bring audience insights and storytelling principles into all communication recommendations. 

  • Recommend language approaches that improve clarity, relevance, engagement and effectiveness. 

Creative Development & Collaboration  

  • Participate in creative kickoffs, brainstorming sessions and concept development activities. 

  • Collaborate closely with designers and creative partners to ensure language and visuals work together effectively. 

  • Provide messaging recommendations and content perspectives during concept development. 

  • Contribute to creative presentations, internal reviews and client discussions as needed. 

  • Support the creative development process by helping translate feedback into actionable content revisions. 

Cross-Functional Partnerships 

  • Partner with Account Supervisors to understand business objectives, audience needs and communication requirements.  

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to align content development with project timelines and priorities.  

  • Consult with subject matter experts and business partners to gather information and validate content accuracy.  

  • Participate in review and approval processes, incorporating feedback efficiently while preserving message effectiveness.  

  • Communicate proactively regarding risks, missing information, content challenges or timeline concerns.

As a(n) Sr, Federal Markets Accounts Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  Through focusing on the Defense Health Agency, Veteran Health Affairs, Indian Health and other Federal Clients you will make an impact by


· Driving federal healthcare business development by owning account‑centric growth strategies and cultivating executive relationships across DoD, VA, IHS, CMS, and civilian health agencies.

· Leading capture management for a high volume of federal opportunities, shaping pipeline strategy, win themes, teaming decisions, and bid/no‑bid recommendations.

· Owning federal proposal strategy and authorship, serving as a principal writer for ROMs, RFIs, RFPs, and sole source submissions; translating complex technical, operational, and financial inputs into compliant, compelling, and differentiated proposal narratives.

· Partnering cross‑functionally with sales, technical, clinical, operations, and pricing teams to deliver compliant, compelling proposals that convert to awarded work.

· Analyzing market trends, customer priorities, and competitor activity to inform near‑ and long‑term federal pipeline development and proposal investment decisions.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Creative Writing or a related field.  

  • 4+ years of experience in copywriting, content development, marketing communications, advertising, public relations or integrated campaign development.  

  • Demonstrated experience developing copy across multiple channels, including digital, social, email, web, experiential, presentation and campaign assets.  

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone, voice and messaging for different audiences and business objectives 

  • Strong understanding of brand development, messaging hierarchies, storytelling frameworks and audience-centered communication.  

  • Experience translating strategic briefs into clear, compelling and persuasive content that drives desired business outcomes.  

  • Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with business requirements, stakeholder expectations and brand standards.  

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working within multidisciplinary creative teams that include Account Management, Design, Project Management and Business Stakeholders.  

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency and attention to detail.  

  • Experience receiving, incorporating and responding to stakeholder feedback in a constructive and professional manner.  

  • Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools, automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency while maintaining accountability for final content quality.  

  • Strong prioritization, communication and organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced agency or in-house agency environment.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $172,700, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
