Overview
The IT Analyst supports the day to day technology operations of the organization, ensuring employees have reliable, secure, and well maintained systems. This role is responsible for workstation builds, break/fix support, account provisioning, troubleshooting, and general IT service delivery. In addition, the IT Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization’s cybersecurity posture by assisting with monitoring, incident response, compliance, and collaboration on security driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues both on-site and remotely.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components
- Handle level 1 and 2 support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication through our ticketing system while maintaining SLA standards.
- Managing Technical Documentation.
- Provision and maintain user accounts, access, and permissions across Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and other platforms.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, device lifecycle data, and hardware distribution.
- Assist with monitoring, identifying, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities across the UEC environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support IT initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and security-driven projects.
- Participate in project and team meetings, as well as meet project goals and deadlines.
- Protect systems, networks, endpoints, applications, and sensitive information through security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and administration of security controls.
- Support compliance with internal security requirements and government cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC, contributing to audits, documentation, and security control implementation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of IT experience with a focus on cybersecurity, information security, IT security, network security, or a related technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows workstation environments, Microsoft 365, identity management, and basic networking concepts
- Familiarity with workstation imaging, endpoint management tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer support.
- Experience working with DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements (NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a related field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar certifications.
- Familiarity with Windows Server/Workstation environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Purview, networking concepts, and core endpoint security technologies
