Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Product Owners in developing, maintaining and delivering product strategies, roadmaps and lifecycle plans across the product portfolio.
- Managing day-to-day product activities, including the creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria and sprint priorities.
- Gathering, analysing and prioritising product requirements from members, stakeholders, partners and internal teams.
- Conducting market, competitor and member research to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
- Supporting the design, coordination and evaluation of trials, pilot initiatives and minimum viable products (MVPs).
- Maintaining product documentation, including requirements, specifications, feature backlogs, change controls and risk registers.
- Monitoring and reporting on product performance, adoption, member engagement, feedback and fraud prevention outcomes to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Member Experience, Marketing and external partners to deliver successful product outcomes.
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of product launches and go-to-market activities, ensuring effective communication and adoption.
- Representing the voice of the customer by gathering, synthesising and championing member and stakeholder feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
- Preparing and delivering product presentations, demonstrations and training sessions for internal and external audiences.
- Managing assigned product and project deliverables, ensuring activities are delivered to agreed objectives, timescales and quality standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Product Management, Business, Technology, Marketing, Data, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in a product, business analysis, product operations, project coordination or similar role, supporting the delivery of products, services or change initiatives.
- Understanding of product management principles, product lifecycle management and customer-centric product development.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog management, user stories and iterative development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, customer feedback and performance metrics to inform decisions.
- Experience gathering, documenting and prioritising requirements from a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate delivery against agreed plans.
- Professional certification or training in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, Business Analysis or Project Management.
- Experience working with digital, data-driven or SaaS products within Agile environments.
- Knowledge of product launch, go-to-market, MVP or innovation delivery approaches.
- Experience within fraud prevention, financial services, technology, risk management or membership-based organisations
