Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
