Materials Coordinator/Handler III (2nd Shift)

General Profile

Develops skills through formal training and hands on experience. Works within established procedures under moderate supervision while building knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and stockroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Locate, audit, transfer, and stage materials or kits to support production.
• Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies in inventory.
• Pick orders according to the kitting tracker.
• Assist with organizing, consolidating, and maintaining stockroom locations to improve inventory accuracy, maximize storage capacity, and support efficient material flow.
• Assist management in controlling excess inventory by relocating, consolidating, or disposing of material as directed.
• Prepare and regulate materials for delivery into cleanroom environments while following all applicable procedures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, when certified and authorized.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and documented business processes.
• Train and assist other Material Coordinators as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent physical activity includes bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting materials, and working in confined spaces. The position also requires the ability to distinguish between colors, work in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels, safely use hand and power tools, and operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Some responsibilities may be performed in a cleanroom environment. When required, employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, boot covers, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields, and other required protective equipment.

Functional Knowledge

• Demonstrates working knowledge of stockroom operations, inventory control, and material handling procedures.
• Follows established processes to complete daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Business Knowledge

• Understands how the Materials department supports Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and other operational functions.
• Uses ERP and inventory management systems, including Made 2 Manage (M2M) and SAP, to complete routine inventory transactions.
• Possesses basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Leadership

• Has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Provides support and assistance to team members as needed while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Problem Solving

• Identifies and resolves routine inventory and material related issues by following established procedures and selecting appropriate solutions.
• Escalates more complex issues to supervisors or appropriate team members when necessary.

Impact

• Contributes to inventory accuracy, material availability, and overall efficiency within the stockroom and materials operation.
• Performs work with attention to quality, accuracy, and safety.

Communication

• Communicates effectively with Manufacturing, Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Shipping, Purchasing, and other departments to support daily operations.
• Shares information clearly and professionally to ensure efficient coordination across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• One to two years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment preferred.

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $27.50

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
