Job Description:
What will you work on?
Supporting the Regional Merchandising Supervisor, you will coordinate territory coverage, training, and operational support for a team of field merchandisers within your assigned region. This is a full-time, field-based role (40 hours per week) requiring hands-on merchandising at retail stores to maximize product availability, on-shelf presence, and display execution. This role is based in the Anaheim, CA market (Zip Code 92706), with consideration for other key markets within the West Region of the USA based on store count.
This is an active, field-based position requiring overnight travel (both air and car) across the assigned region to conduct field visits and in-person training sessions.
How will you create impact?
Provide on-the-ground leadership, continuous coaching, and hands-on training to field team members to ensure all department KPIs are met
Conduct regular in-field store visits, document performance recaps, and collaborate with the Regional Supervisor to implement team action plans
Lead bi-weekly team conference calls to communicate operational priorities, regional retail insights, and company updates
Maintain on-shelf product availability, execute pack-outs, and build high-visibility displays at retail store locations
Negotiate and secure incremental product placement and promotional displays directly with store-level management
Collect and submit real-time retail data, compliance photos, and market intelligence through our proprietary merchandising application
Act as the regional product expert, educating team members on competitive toy trends, retailer standards, and in-store operational best practices
What are your skills and experience?
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
Professional experience in retail merchandising or sales, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or third-party merchandising sector
Prior experience leading, training, or supervising remote field teams or retail staff
Familiarity with the operational practices and merchandising standards of big-box retailers, specifically Walmart and Target
Proficiency using digital retail reporting applications and mobile field-management tools
Ability to conduct frequent overnight regional travel via air and car
Ability to perform physical retail tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods
A valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, active auto insurance, and a clean driving record
The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $23 to $25 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
