Structural Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Bothell, WA office.

Your Role

• Support the design and development of plans and drawings
• Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions
• Contribute to the compilation of data and the preparation of reports
• Assist engineers with Structures plan production tasks
• Provide administrative and operations support to Engineering staff

About You

• EXPERIENCE:
  • No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION:
  • Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree with a structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Math skills to perform calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and FEM software (preferred).

Additional Information 

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
