Position Overview:

This is a great opportunity for a developer-minded student or recent graduate who wants to build real business systems while learning how AI coding agents can multiply what one person can accomplish. Reporting directly to our CTO, you will build, test, and support the internal web applications, integrations, and automation that keep Knight Watch running.

As an AI Systems Intern on our Internal IT team, you will own assigned deliverables, learn how our systems work end-to-end, and help roll them out to internal teams. You will write and fix code, use coding agents to move faster on scaffolding, testing, debugging, and documentation, and help sales and other teams put new capabilities to work.

Key Responsibilities:

· Write, review, and fix code for internal web apps, scripts, and integrations.

· Use coding agents to move faster on scaffolding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

· Test applications and identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.

· Troubleshoot across software, networking, Microsoft 365, and cloud-connected systems.

· Take ownership of assigned systems and keep them reliable and current.

· Help roll out new applications and integrations to internal teams.

· Write concise documentation for internal applications and processes.

· Train sales and other internal users on new capabilities.

Education & Experience:

· Pursuing or recently completed an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

· A coding background with sound knowledge of .NET, Entity Framework Core, SQL, and Git version control.

· Working understanding of web applications, APIs, and networking fundamentals.

· Comfort working with Microsoft 365 and cloud-connected systems.

Work Location & Hours:

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan 

Schedule: Internship position. Hours and schedule to be determined based on business needs and academic schedule.

Work Environment: This position is office-based within our Internal IT team, reporting to the CTO. Interns should be comfortable working independently, managing assigned deliverables, and collaborating with teams across the company.
