Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, communications, deadlines, and engagement deliverables.
- Manage clients’ tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and identify tax planning opportunities that support their strategic goals.
- Lead tax engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Review complex C-Corporation income tax returns and oversee corporate tax compliance engagements.
- Manage and review ASC 740 income tax provisions.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to Tax Associates, Seniors, and other team members.
- Deliver regular performance feedback and help foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Leverage your technical tax knowledge, project management skills, and business acumen to solve complex client challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to provide integrated solutions and outstanding client service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license required.
- 4+ years of public accounting experience, including experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
- Strong experience with C-Corporation taxation and corporate income tax compliance.
- Experience reviewing and managing ASC 740 income tax provisions.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to delivering superior client service.
