Description:

This role is for an Airplane cleaner and will work 30 hours a week.


Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and procedures. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Prepares construction sites, pours and spreads concrete, sets forms, and/or finishes surfaces. Participates in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects and activities. Supports plant production activities in receiving and shipping materials and products. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive interior cleaning and detailing of company aircraft prior to each departure, ensuring the cabin meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

  • Vacuum carpets and flooring; clean and sanitize lavatories; wipe and disinfect all cabin surfaces; clean windows, mirrors, tables, cabinetry, and other interior fixtures; empty trash and replace liners; and dust vents, ledges, and other interior components.

  • Clean and detail aircraft exteriors in accordance with approved procedures, including washing the aircraft, cleaning windows, landing gear, wheels, brightwork, and removing bugs, dirt, and contaminants from approved surfaces.

  • Assist with aircraft polishing, detailing, and special appearance enhancement projects as required.

  • Stock, replenish, and organize aircraft commissary supplies, including beverages, snacks, catering items, ice, coffee supplies, paper products, and passenger amenities.

  • Monitor commissary inventory levels and promptly notify management of supplies requiring replenishment.

  • Prepare aircraft cabins to company presentation standards before passenger arrival, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and professional environment.

  • Verify that all cabin equipment, emergency and safety equipment, and passenger amenities are properly organized, secured, and ready for flight.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hangars, storage rooms, commissary areas, cleaning equipment, and related workspaces.

  • Properly operate, maintain, and store cleaning equipment while using only approved aircraft cleaning products and chemicals.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies, manufacturer-approved cleaning procedures, and industry best practices to prevent aircraft damage and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Provide non-maintenance operational support to maintenance personnel as assigned.

  • Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness, damage, or discrepancies, and promptly report findings, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages to the Director of Maintenance or designated supervisor.

  • Maintain a professional appearance, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and provide courteous, customer-focused support to flight crews, passengers, and company personnel.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support safe, efficient, and high-quality aircraft operations.
