Job Description Summary
The Senior Performance & Risk Manager will apply commercial and technical expertise to drive customer value and deliver GE CS business growth in long term net cash and CSA contract profitability. This role will advise a portfolio of Americas contracts and lead in a matrix organization.In this role, you will utilize your leadership, operations, technical, and financial expertise to develop and execute strategies geared towards maximizing customer and GE profitability through operational excellence driving short- and long-term GE business Outcomes.
In this role the Performance and Risk Manager will collaborate with commercial, legal, operations, risk & finance functions and will be exposed and gain experience with the full portfolio of GE gas turbine technologies and CSA contracts.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Consistently drive a Cost and Execution management culture within the organization and bring visibility to risk and opportunity (modeling, execution, parts / repairs / outages execution vs. modeling, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Policy 5.0 & Policy 6.0 and other internal processes and guidelines.
- Provide analytical, process expertise, and creativity to proactively maximize the economic outcome of field execution events for GE customers (minimize total costs, maximize bonuses, minimize LDs).
- Partner with pole operations, repairs, technology platform teams, quality, engineering, outage services, and finance teams to assess contract execution to optimize customer and GE value.
- For the assigned portfolio, own Productivity Operating Plan execution, driving opportunities and mitigating risks, while continuously monitoring and communicating key identified variances versus budget plan.
- Work closely with region operation teams during outage pre-planning to ensure customer and GE outcomes are maximized. Be a key advocate for customer centric field service program implementation & execution.
- Drive pole specific Productivity Projects with full ownership for strategy, implementation / execution, communication, and rhythm within the risk team as well as within the pole.
- Work closely with region commercial teams during bid processes to ensure contract profitability is maximized from a life cycle perspective. Be a key advocate on reward and risk trade-offs.
- Partner with ITO teams and provide analytical and contract negotiation support to maximize contract profitability. Maintain knowledge of macro market trends and incorporate into long-term portfolio strategy.
- Demonstrate independent and self-motivated project management from project definition through implementation and closeout.
- Develop forecasts and scenario / sensitivity analysis for critical variables in field execution and contract negotiations (overall outage length and cost, as well as thermal, availability, reliability, outage duration bonus / Liquidated Damages)
- Be a key partner to the Global Catalog COE leaders & support continuous monitoring for the assigned portfolio and Americas region.
- Communicate key learning's across the field organization and work closely with the risk international team to communicate and share best practices.
- Review with senior management, within PS and other GE organizations, analytical results and mitigation plans to achieve financial and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a field-related leadership role in Contract Management, Operations or Risk Management
- Solid understanding of contractual, financial, commercial, operational, and technical aspects of CSAs
- Ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to influence others in a matrix environment. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with high level of accuracy and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and presentation skills. Strong business acumen
