All Good Cafe New Orleans in The Barnett Hotel is seeking a Food Runner with open availability to join our team. The Food Runner supports the cafe team by delivering food orders promptly and accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced dining environment a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
Ability to carry trays and deliver food safely and professionally.
Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30–40 lbs. for extended periods.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
