About the role
Ready to help shape the future of Bunnings’ supply chain? This is an opportunity to join our Supply Chain Development team and use advanced analytics, network modelling and tools such as Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI to influence how products move from suppliers to our stores and customers.
As a Senior Network Design Analyst, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining the models and insights that support major network decisions, investment planning and long-term growth. Working alongside a collaborative team of supply chain specialists, you'll turn complex data into clear recommendations that help improve service, efficiency and scalability across our distribution network.
What's involved
- Develop and enhance network models that provide visibility across our end-to-end distribution network.
- Explore future scenarios and test different network configurations to help guide strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Analyse supply chain performance data to uncover trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Create meaningful insights and reporting that help leaders make informed decisions.
- Build and maintain cost-to-serve models that support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Contribute to business cases by quantifying costs, benefits and trade-offs associated with network changes.
- Partner with teams across operations, transport, technology, finance, property and merchandising to solve complex supply chain challenges.
- Help maintain robust analytical processes, data quality and model governance standards.
- Support a variety of projects and initiatives that improve how we serve our stores and customers.
Who we're looking for
You're naturally curious and enjoy solving complex problems through data and analysis. You thrive in environments where no two challenges are the same and you're comfortable working with large data sets to uncover meaningful insights.
You'll enjoy collaborating with people from different functions, translating technical information into practical recommendations that others can easily understand and act upon. You're someone who values accuracy and analytical rigour, while also recognising the need to balance detail with business outcomes.
You'll need
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams.
- Experience in supply chain analytics, network design, logistics planning or a similar analytical role.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to work confidently with large and complex data sets.
- Advanced capability in Excel and experience using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar platforms would be beneficial.
- Experience developing models, analysing performance and communicating insights to a range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of distribution centre operations, supply chain networks and operational performance drivers.
- Knowledge of cost-to-serve analysis, financial modelling or business case development will be highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications (degree, diploma or similar) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline.
You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
We love the diversity across our teams, brought together in an inclusive culture guided by our values. We welcome applications from individuals of all ages, cultural backgrounds, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply and join us in shaping a workplace that celebrates First Nations voices, perspectives, and contributions.
