GFT is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Services team in New Jersey. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to lead large scale construction projects for life sciences and industrial manufacturing.

What you’ll be challenged to do:
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead and manage the completion of complex construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, driving collaboration and excellence throughout the project lifecycle
You will need to have experience in estimating, scheduling, and overseeing structural, architectural, and MEP components of complex construction projects up to $50 million.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects in regulated environments.
- Act as the primary liaison between GFT, clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Respond to client RFPs and prepare proposals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and our internal quality requirements.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring to our firm:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in life sciences, industrial or food & beverage industries.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements is a plus.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
