Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in New Hill, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and document security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter unauthorized activity while supporting a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor records, and delivery personnel entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor badges or credentials, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
