What You’ll Do
• Provide full-time special education instruction to students with severe disabilities and significant behavioral needs.
• Manage a Setting 4 caseload serving students with intensive support needs.
• Teach students across elementary through high school age groups.
• Develop and implement instruction and support strategies based on individual student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and school staff to provide comprehensive student support.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Support students in developing academic, behavioral, social, and functional skills.
What You’ll Need
• Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required.
• Experience working with students with severe disabilities required.
• Experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a Setting 4 or similarly intensive special education environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to teach and support students ranging from elementary through high school.
• Strong classroom management and behavioral support skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and other school personnel.
• Strong communication, patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
