The Role:
Vivmark Residential is seeking a Superintendent I to join our Construction team and support the delivery of multifamily and mixed-use development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction leadership career who wants to gain hands-on experience managing field operations while learning from experienced construction professionals.
In this role, you'll own portions of a project, coordinate subcontractors, support safety and quality initiatives, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest standards.
What You'll Do
Support the day-to-day field execution of multifamily and mixed-use construction projects from start to finish.
Manage designated scopes of work and take ownership of key project components.
Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and schedule adherence.
Identify and proactively address jobsite risks related to safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
Partner with project management and senior field leadership to review project schedules and support planning efforts.
Ensure construction activities meet company quality standards and project specifications.
Participate in daily and weekly project meetings and support coordination across trades.
Conduct site walks, monitor progress, and document project activities.
Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient construction site.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
Experience in multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or residential construction through internships, field engineering, assistant superintendent, or related roles.
Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety requirements, and quality control practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
