The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and the increasing demand for critical energy infrastructure across Victoria, we are seeking an experienced Land Transaction Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the coordination and delivery of land and easement transactions that support the development, construction and operation of major electricity transmission infrastructure.
Reporting to the Land Access & Engagement Lead, you will manage a broad range of property and land access activities, working closely with landholders, legal advisors, valuers and internal stakeholders.
You will be responsible for ensuring transaction activities are effectively coordinated, accurately documented and delivered in line with key business objectives, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and high standards of governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate land and easement transactions, including access agreements, licences, options and property acquisitions.
Support negotiations and facilitate the preparation, execution and registration of property agreements.
Maintain accurate property records, acquisition registers and transaction tracking systems.
Liaise with landholders, legal representatives, valuers and other external stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
Identify and manage transaction risks, issues and delays, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience in property transactions, land acquisition, easements, property administration or a related field.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and detailed documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Qualifications in Property, Business, Law, Commerce or a related discipline, with experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy or major developments highly regarded.
