Cycle Count Specialist

We are currently hiring a Cycle Counter to work in our Plymouth, MN  location. This position is best suited for an organized, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a career within a well-established company.

WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?

The Cycle Counter maintains the accuracy of our inventory through daily proactive cycle counts, responding to discrepancies, and addresses inquiries from the team to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy is achieved and maintained.

• Count the products located in the warehouse prime and reserve locations, using an RF/hand-held scanner.
• Perform daily cycle counts and any necessary adjustments to inventory.
• Resolve and report discrepancies to management.
• Move products from one location in the warehouse to another.
• Report over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisors.
• Assist with backorder investigation, including tracking down lost or misplaced items.
• Learn warehouse management system (Epicor Prophet 21).
• Operate forklift or cherry pickers to move products.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure item setups, including sku, are set up in accordance to company procedures.
• Open cartons, bundles, and other containers using hand tools.
• Utilize excel reports to report on inventory discrepancies, issues, etc.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess or quickly obtain the skills necessary to manage a cycle count process as well as a basic understanding of inventory management processes.
• Must possess the skills required to safely operate fork trucks and cherry pickers to move product around in the warehouse.
