Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing, technology-first entertainment company building AI-powered consumer products for a global audience. The role is highly product-focused and combines mobile, web, and backend development, with approximately 70% of the work dedicated to building new functionality.

About the Role

You will work on high-scale B2C entertainment applications across mobile and web, contributing to products that combine storytelling, video, subscriptions, and AI-driven recommendations.

This role is best suited for an autonomous engineer who enjoys solving complex product problems, shipping quickly, and taking ownership of features from initial design through production release.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain consumer-facing mobile and web applications.
• Develop cross-platform mobile functionality using React Native.
• Build modern web interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Design and maintain backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Own features across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
• Work closely with product, design, data, and engineering teams.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in the iOS and Android release processes.
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and event-driven services.
• Contribute to subscription, payment, content, and user progress systems.
• Work with product analytics, experiments, and A/B testing.
• Integrate and improve AI- and LLM-powered product functionality.
• Support and gradually modernize existing legacy components.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Identify technical issues early and propose practical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Understanding of native iOS and Android release processes.
• Experience building modern web applications with React or Next.js.
• Experience designing backend services with Node.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API design and distributed application architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to take ownership of complex features and work independently.
• Product-oriented mindset and interest in user behavior and business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Practical experience using or integrating AI and LLM technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-scale B2C mobile applications.
• Background in entertainment, streaming, social media, publishing, or consumer subscription products.
• Experience with in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payment systems.
• Knowledge of mobile analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing.
