What You'll Do
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight to designated locations, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your vehicle mechanically sound and your cargo secure.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any unforeseen circumstances by communicating clearly with dispatchers, customers, and teammates.
- Keep accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, fuel consumption, and other required data.
- Uphold company policies on safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.
What You Bring
Must-haves:
- 2+ years of prior truck/commercial driving experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A, Hazmat).
- Clean driving record and a genuine commitment to safety, on and off the road.
- Strong communication skills; able to work independently while staying a true team player.
- Physical stamina for long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.
- Willingness to learn and use new tools and technology to work more efficiently.
Nice-to-have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
- Full-time, on-the-road position with pre-trip/post-trip inspection duties.
- Occasional heavy lifting and extended hours consistent with DOT hours-of-service rules.
- Must pass DOT-required background, drug, and alcohol screening as a condition of employment.
Overtime status: This position is exempt from California overtime requirements under the state Wage Order provision applicable to drivers whose hours of service are regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (49 CFR § 395.1–395.13). You'll always be paid at least the applicable minimum wage for all hours worked.

Pay Transparency: The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $26.00–$28.00, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This range reflects the base pay scale for this role and does not include the value of benefits.
