## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Operations Specialist to manage the daily operation and implementation of office IT network and security services in Pune. The role requires expertise in routing and switching, wireless technologies, VPNs, FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN, supported by 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.

## What you’ll do

  • Manage daily network and security operations and support infrastructure implementations.
  • Assess infrastructure and processes, identify improvement opportunities and develop continual service improvement plans.
  • Maintain service continuity arrangements, including backup, restoration and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Implement approved network configurations in line with technical designs.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
  • Execute changes with clearly documented risks and mitigation measures.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and knowledge articles.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring operational activities.
  • Complete effective shift handovers, including critical tickets and upcoming tasks.
  • Participate actively in priority incident resolution until services are restored.

## Who you are

  • You have 6 to 10 years of network and security experience.
  • You possess practical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, Cisco wireless and VPN technologies, FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN.
  • You understand incident, request, problem and change management practices.
  • You can work effectively within defined service-level agreements.
  • You apply clear, solution-focused thinking and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • You hold CCNA, CCNP or NSE4 certification, or equivalent relevant expertise.
