Division Overview
Kokosing’s Industrial and Power Division is offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, complex engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects ranging from power generation facilities to other process industries. We are seeking individuals who are open to regular and frequent relocation for career development opportunities and who desire job responsibilities in field operations ranging from project controls, craft management, safety, quality, planning, estimating, and contract administration. We build various project sites across Midwest and East Coast regions. Examples of recent and current project sites: St. Louis, MO & Festus, MO
Responsibilities
• Field Operations: Interpret drawings/specifications/3D models for field crews and craft, prepare work plans and work packages, audit operations for safety compliance, order and schedule material deliveries, track installation progress, perform quality inspections and submit test records
• Office Engineering: Maintain project controls including client report development and schedule updates, generate change orders reviewed by project management, supervise subcontractor operations, support site logistics, coordinate design and procurement interface
• Estimating: Review and analyze data relative to the project, perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, complete plans and specification reviews for projects, assist with the preparation of a bid
Qualifications
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure we “Lead with Safety 24/7”
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site across diverse climates and environments
• Highly motivated with demonstrated leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
