The City of Marysville is seeking a visionary executive leader for the position of Public Service Director. Serving as a key member of the leadership team, this role acts as a strategic steward of the City's physical identity—aligning department vision and operations with the City’s Strategic Plan and mission while overseeing specialized infrastructure management and community aesthetics to support sustainable municipal growth.
Lead the Fleet, Parks, Recreation & Events, Streets, and Facilities divisions.
Manage the full lifecycle of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) from design to closeout.
Develop multi-divisional budgets and perform advanced cost-benefit forecasting.
Oversee urban forestry, horticultural science, and proactive equipment replacement schedules.
Serve as the primary liaison to the City Manager to support City Council and stakeholders on infrastructure and emergency response.
Education: A bachelor's degree in public administration, public works management, or related field from a college or university of recognized standing is required.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible public sector management experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean record.
