- Provide leadership and oversight for Physician Assistant Services across assigned campuses.
- Supervise PA leadership teams and frontline Physician Assistants, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to align workforce strategy with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, credentialing standards, and professional practice expectations.
- Support performance management processes, including annual and probationary evaluations.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives, including staffing optimization, overtime management, and recruitment activities.
- Develop and implement competency, training, and professional development programs for PAs.
- Facilitate regular communication with Chief PAs and service leaders to address operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for campus-based PA services.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs that promote retention and workforce satisfaction.
- Participate in organizational committees, quality initiatives, and operational workgroups.
- Support emergency management, business continuity planning, and regulatory readiness efforts.
- Utilize workforce data and operational metrics to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Master's degree required.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
- Current NCCPA Board Certification.
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible healthcare experience.
- Previous clinical leadership and supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated success leading clinical teams, managing operations, and driving organizational initiatives.
- ACLS certification, if required by clinical practice area.
- Experience in advanced practice provider leadership, workforce planning, healthcare operations, and strategic program development.
- Experience within a large academic medical center or integrated health system.
