THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Sydney Emergency Services team as a Case Manager, where you’ll apply your health or client service experience in a new and meaningful way. You will manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims, working closely with injured workers, employers, and health professionals to support safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
We are seeking candidates with a strong customer service background, ideally with exposure to Health Sciences, Allied Health, or Law. While tertiary qualifications are highly regarded, transferable experience from clinical or client-facing environments will also be considered.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Sydney George Street office, with flexibility to work from home (up to three days from home) available from month three, subject to performance and approval.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage an end-to-end portfolio of workers’ compensation claims involving both physical and psychological injuries
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, and rehabilitation providers
- Utilise your understanding of health, recovery, and rehabilitation to drive proactive case strategies and positive outcomes
- Collaborate with internal Injury Management Specialists to design and implement tailored return-to-work plans
- Support and guide individuals throughout their recovery journey with a focus on empathy, communication, and outcome delivery
ABOUT YOU
- A background in Health Sciences, Allied Health, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a client-focused environment
- A genuine interest in transitioning your skills into a corporate or insurance-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex or sensitive situations with professionalism
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to think critically and navigate competing priorities
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team outcomes and culture
- Committed to delivering a high standard of service and building meaningful, trust-based relationships
