Job Description Summary
The HMI Platform and Networking Engineer will be responsible for working with cross-functional product teams to design, implement, and maintain HMI hardware and configuration standards for GE Vernova’s customer-facing platforms. This role will work with technical leaders, system architects, and principal engineers supporting next generation’s developments that support critical customer infrastructure in the virtualization, networking, and cyber security initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technical Leaders, System Architects, and Principal Engineers to develop test plans around new human machine interface platforms to meet performance and stability requirements.
- Execute test plans that may include detailed performance studies for new hardware and software releases and create reports for reviews with the Controlled Title Holder community.
- Partner with Requisition and OTR (Order-to-Remittance) engineers, as well as external customers, to resolve technical support issues and translate field feedback into actionable product and process improvements.
- Evaluate new technologies that could have a positive impact on customer operations in a power generation capacity.
- Work with product line to lay out budget needs and timelines for inclusion of HMI platform enhancements into the gas power controls products.
- Serve as a member in the Scaled Agile Framework defining the handoff scope in terms of features, stories, and tasks meeting milestone dates as laid out by the product owner to meet product testing requirements.
- Coordinate with the NPI to Fulfillment handoff team to create training materials for domestic and global fulfillment teams on new product developments.
- Manage multiple product developments concurrently.
- Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
