About the Role
Our Housekeepers are essential team members who maintain the overall appeal of our apartment community while displaying warm, friendly personalities. This is a great opportunity for those with general janitorial or cleaning experience to build a career with plenty of room for growth on the Fairfield Property Management Team.
This is a part-time opportunity offering 25 hours per week with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Hours and schedule are subject to change based on business needs.
What You'll Do
Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.
Property Curb Appeal
- Perform daily property walks to keep the property looking clean and tidy.
- Clean common areas such as pools, gyms, laundry rooms, and offices.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and tile grout.
Operations
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
Customer Service
- Respond to resident and staff needs promptly.
- Communicate updates and escalate issues as needed.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all safety and OSHA requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Housekeeper or similar position is preferred.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- General computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of and ability to use standard cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.

Estimated Rate of Pay:
$19.32 - $22.05
This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.
The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
